Library Profile
The Central Library at the Medical College, Jhalawar started functioning at the newly constructed Medical College Building at Jhalawar from May, 2008. The Library building is air conditioned and consists of two floors with a seating capacity of 360 readers. Year after year it has made steady progress and has grown into a collection of more than 11,000 Medical Books & 12,000 Back volumes of Medical journals with subscription to 111 printed National and International Medical Journals yearly on various Medical subjects. Internet browsing facility is also available for accessing e-resources. In addition to above central library acts as a source for books to all departmental libraries. There are also reading rooms for the students to bring in their own reading material to study.
ICT Infrastructure
Internet Section – Air conditioned internet hall Computers are meant to be used free of cost by the Faculty members for browsing the Internet for their Academic, Research and Patient Care related matters. 40 computer terminals are installed in library for faculty and students to access e-resources.
